Addition of New Programmes and Class names

This document is regarding the addition of new programmes and class names in the bookworm module of EMIS software so that the students can get membership of the library when they take admission in their respective courses.

Please follow the below steps to achieve the same :

Step 1 : Log in to your EMIS software and click on the Bookworm tab at the top bar of your screen.

Step 2 : You will find the below screen as Bookworm main screen for your institute

Step 3 : Click on the Directories → Program class directories → Program Directory → Add

Step 4 : Select the Course Name, Insert the short name, Certification as Certificate/Undergraduate/PostGraduate and then click on Save button below

Step 5 : Click on the Directories → Program class directories → Class Directory → Add

Step 6 : Select the Course Name, select the class name, insert the short name, class nature and then click on Save button below.

Repeat this step for all the classes that exist in that particular Course/Programme Name.

(Eg. In screenshot, French level 3 is selected, need to repeat the same for French level 4,5,6)

In this way, the addition of all the programmes and class names mentioned in the list of the software is expected to be inserted as record and saved so that the students get membership to the library as soon as they take admission for the desired courses at your institute.
