Student Process - Class Roster Enrollment
Objectives -
The class roster enrollment process enables students to conveniently select their major, minor, and elective courses online, offering them greater academic flexibility. This approach saves time and empowers students to tailor their studies to their individual interests and preferences.
To enroll in courses or subjects, students are kindly requested to follow the process outlined below:
Step 1 - Login to class roster portal.
Step 2 - Refer to the classroaster table.
Step 3 - Choose the course/subjects as per the preferences and click on “add to scheduler”.
Step 4 - Review the course/subject schedule in My scheduler.
Step 5 - Confirm enrollment.
Step 1: Login to class roster portal.
Please visit the following link to access the Class Roster :
https://classroster.somaiya.edu/en. Then, click on the "Sign In" button to continue.
1.1 Log in using your SVV Net ID and password, as shown below:
1.2 Select your respective institute from the options provided.
Once you have logged in successfully, the class roster page will appear, allowing you to choose your courses and subjects.
Step 2 - Refer the class roster table
Please refer to the class roster table before selecting your subjects. This course / subject enrollment table provides essential guidance on your major and minor selection criteria. It outlines the number of subjects you need to choose for your major and minor, as well as the credits required for completion.
Min Enrollment : The minimum number of courses/subjects you need to select.
Max Enrollment : The maximum number of courses/subjects you are allowed to choose.
Credits : The total credits you need to earn.
This table serves as a helpful guide throughout the enrollment process. Once you have reviewed the table, please click on the tabs below to select your core and elective courses.
Each tab includes the names of the courses/subjects, class information, and the scheduled dates and times, providing you with clear details about the schedule.
Note: Please ensure that you meet the total number of credits specified in the class roster enrollment table. If you do not fulfill the total credit requirement, the portal will not allow you to submit your request.

Step 3 : Choose the course / subjects as per the preferences and click on “add to scheduler”
After reviewing the table, you may proceed to select your major, minor, and electives according to your preferences. You can explore the available tabs to indicate your choices for core courses and program-specific electives.
Once you have selected the course or subject, please click on "Add to Scheduler" to include it in your schedule.
Step 4 : Review the course / subject schedule in My scheduler.
Note : In My Scheduler, students can modify their schedule to resolve any timetable conflicts. To remove a course causing a conflict or if no longer desired, simply click the delete option.
Step 4.1 :
Once the schedule is finalized, students must click on the Confirm Enrollment button to confirm their enrollment.
Step 5 : Confirm enrollment.
After confirming all courses and My Scheduler, students can view their selected courses in the My Courses section.
